Random Orbital Sanders

I currently have a Bosch multi-Grinding machine that I bought some time ago that was on sale and cheap and has served me for about 4 years of use, which is very good. However, I am now looking at getting one that can give a finer finish and remove stock faster when needed. So after some reading, a random orbital grinder is apparently the right way to go.

What things will I take care of? I'm looking to do the normal grinding operation, to grind my fences on the outside and to remove the stocks where it is needed, if the wood is cracked, etc. I know that belt grinders are best for removing heavy stock, but since this is not a common occurrence, the Internet seems to say that this is the best between an orbital grinder and a belt grinder, where you get the best of both worlds.

I've read that variable speed is a good thing, as is dust removal (obviously), so I'm wondering what people think about what to look for? Any recommendations?

Wireless vs. wired?

Wired for me, you don't have to worry about the battery.

I also like the Wired one more, and the reason for that is that they are mainly more powerful. There are people who like wireless more, and I can see their point of view. Batteries are getting better now and when they get bad, you can buy one for cheap. Wired or Wireless, I always choose Makita sanders, I have both versions, and I use wired more, but that is just my preference. You can read about sanders here https://www.bestorbitalsander.com/, you can see that they like Makita a lot, it is the best sander in their opinion and I share it.
