|TomSan||There are a lot of places that are censoring some websites. If you have ever been to china it is really hard to find a way to login on Facebook or some other apps that we love. That is why I always use proxy to access those websites, but there are times where that does not help. It is like that with pirate bay and to avoid that censorship you can use this pirate bay proxy list. It is a cool thing because Pirate Bay is going down a lot and it is annoying when you can't access it. Well good thing is that there always is a place where it works and you can get what you want there.|

There's a pirate bay for scientists and it's making science available to everyone!
Alexandra Elbakyan, a student from Kazakhstan is currently in hiding. She started a site called Sci-hub which has been described as the pirate bay for science. This site allows you to bypass publisher firewalls and access scientific articles for free.
Right now the publishers charge universities and individuals huge amounts of money to access their articles. They don't seem to put back a lot of money into research (correct me if I'm wrong) considering they charge people to access it.
I think Alexandra is doing fantastic work and actually helping scientists and helping the spread of science to the lay person. The taxpayer is funding a lot of this research and deserves access to it.
