Does anyone know what is involved when having the transmission fluid changed? Is it just draining the old fluid and putting in new fluid , or is there more to it?

CVT trans? You're going to do it yourself?
Usually there's a filter change, requires drop the pan. Can't tell you specifically for your Spark.
