Car Connection Test Drives the 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV

The Car Connection had nothing bad to say about the 2014 Spark EV, calling it "one of the best-driving battery electric cars yet." GM boasts that the Spark EV is the quickest of affordable electric models with a 0-60 mph time of 7.6 seconds. GM also calls the Spark EV the most efficient production passenger vehicle in the world. on a mile-per-gallon-equivalent basis.

The Spark EV also includes a "confidence gauge" which gives you a best-case/worst-case scenario of how far you'll be able to drive before your battery runs out.

Currently, the Spark EV is only available in California and Oregon with no word on when it will be available in other states.
