According to other pictures of the white Spark EV, the grille looks aluminum colored, just like the grille on the Volt (even the same pattern). It could be painted the same color as the rest of the car, but the Volt keeps it unpainted.

Has anyone actually seen the car close up? I live too far away to pay a visit to L.A.

i can see why he thought it was painted to match the car, in the video it has a blue-ish hue going on
