The Chevy Spark EV comes with a 105kW electric motor, which can generate 542Nm of torque. The Spark EV has a 0-60mph of 7.6 seconds, and has a 119 mpg efficiency with 82 miles of range.
The engine has both a rotor and a stator. The stator has a steel core, which supports the motor winding and intensify the magnetic field, and the rotor is built around a central hub that links the transfer torque to the shaft.
The Chevrolet Spark EV will be the first car to feature aa SAE combo charger from DC Fast Charging. The Spark EV production model also has a liquid cooled battery pack by A123Systems. Put together, the Spark EV can handle multiple charges per day without affecting battery life. The battery will also charge to 80% in about 20 minutes.
