Chevy's sales in Europe have been declining with sales of the Spark and Matiz twins falling to 37 percent to 12,245 units through April of 2013. The Aveo has taken a similar hit while companies like Dacia and Kia have made gains. This remains a bit of mystery to Chevy though some analysts believe aging design and comparatively high fuel consumption is to blame.
With the release of the Spark EV hopefully things will turn around.
