The concept of shoehorning a giant motor into a lightweight compact has been around for decades, but this
Chevrolet Spark powered by a 7.0-liter Corvette V8 motor takes that idea to a whole new level.
Packing 550 hp under the hood, this Chevrolet Spark hits 62 mph in a mere 3.7 seconds and tops out at 161 mph. Those numbers are a massive upgrade from the factory 1.2-liter’s 84 hp rating.
To give the Spark a look to back up its potency, Fourdin Auto Sport equipped it with a widebody kit and 18-inch wheels that almost look too small compared to on the extra-wide Spark.
The powerplant isn’t all that was borrowed from the Corvette sports car. The steering and brake systems were also custom fitted on to ensure the Spark can handle the 7.0-liter power.
The Spark was recently up for sale on eBay and it appears to have been sold for around $55,000.
