I thought I read this somewhere but my seats stop at a 45 degree angle, not horizontal. Got mine yesterday. 2022.

They fold ALMOST flat. You have to move the front seats forward, then remove the headrests from the rear seats, then reach under the bottom of the seat bottom and pull upward.

The bottom will unclip and swing forward towards the front seats. Then fold the seat backs down. There is a spot on the seat bottom that will hold your headrests.

I couldn't get the rear headrests off. Is there a switch somewhere I'm missing? Manual says it's on page 53 but it isn't.

yes, where the chrome bars go into the seats, there is a latch that you push on, part of the plastic circle the rods go through

Thanks, I got the headrests off, pulled each latch left & right. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get the seat bottoms out. At the most I likely won't have more than one passenger but I'll carry stuff in the back.

The seat bottoms you just put your hand under the front of the seat and pull up. It will unclip and lift up and swing to the front on a couple of metal arms.

Once they are up, you can move the front seats back against them.
You can choose either the 60% or the 40% to leave up or down.

Thanks. I got it done. Much more room in the back now for my wife's suitcases when we do overnight trips. Also good for hauling more stuff around. I removed the rear seat cushions so I could slide the front seats all the way back. I haven't hauled a 3rd passenger in many years.

I was looking at doing teh same thing. I am a field repair technician and I do all my calls on site, so I have to carry boxes all the time. Goint ot make a floor mat that covers the whole area.

We do this when we tow the car behind the winnebago, and have a full-size spare back there too.
If you don't remove the bottom seat cushions you can't put the front seats all the way back.
