Depending on how you use it really. You could create a flat spot on your rear tires since it will be locked. And if you do this consistently you might wanna adjust the parking brake every so often. Not a good idea really, it meant for parking.
Not sure what giving the ebrake means. If you mean pulling the ebrake. It won't harm the car but you will put yourself in danger if the car looses control.
Im guessing the OP accidentally pulled the parking brake while the car was moving and is now worried that it did some damage. Depends on when you pulled it but i dont suggest you use it unless your parking on inclines or so forth.
