Brought home a 2014 Black Granite 2LT last night. Traded the 2013 1LT. This is a big difference. CVT is great. Makes the engine noise almost non existent. I was really surprised. All sparks now come with Auto on/off headlamps. For some reason the ride seems much better on the 2014. Now also has turn signal lamps on the mirrors. Also tried the new SIRI Eyes Free system. Works great.

Congratulations on your purchase. I have the exact car sitting on dealer lot now and just waiting for Chevrolet to finalize the paperwork on replacement of my 2013 2LT which they are taking back. Cannot comment now on replacement reason, as I am waiting till I get my 2014 first. I think the 2014 with CVT with be much better and I am glad you are liking your vehicle.

Hi all. Just picked up my 2014 Black Granite 2LT and GM bought back my 2013 Black Granite 2LT. Got a MSRP to MSRP replacement trade and they paid all the registration and taxes, as well as paying off my 2013 loan. Had to acquire new financing and new CA plates for the 2014, as old plates stay with vehicle in CA.
Dealers are loading up 2LTs with a bunch of needless options, at least here in California and almost pricing them out of the market.
Car has the CVT transmission (Made in Japan) which is good and in my opinion is just as responsive as the old 4 speed auto or better. Peppy, unnoticeable shifting and supposedly gets a bit better gas mileage.
2014 also comes with automatic headlights which is great and 2LT also has larger outside mirrors with integrated turn signals. Steering wheel controls are lit as well and a/c seems to be working as well as possible here in the lower desert of California.
My dealer had to dealer trade to get this vehicle, so I did not have a lot of choices concerning already installed options, outside of ordering a new one which would be 7-8 weeks out.
Other than the few standard changes, car is same as the 2013 and still very enjoyable. Hope to have many years of problem free operation
By the way, I have a set of the Z spec floor mats if anybody is interested in purchasing, as car comes with standard mats as well
