:):)Just traded in a 5 year old smart---one of 1st to USA; had to drive 130 miles one way to smart center PITTSBURGH--for maintenance; for the birds----This spark car is LEMONADE - 2LT Auto -(loaded)-waited months for it because of trim/color, etc.

I don't need the back seat, but the spark is really nice! Very pleased after 2 weeks driving as local daily driver, city car! Only question - being in rural area, I think I should get a spare wheel/tire.

YOUR ADVICE??

traded smart for new 2013 SPARK-- rationale

Surprised you went from a Smart car to a Spark, a number of Ex-Smart car owners I know went to Fiat 500's and other really cool compact's alike.

You must be missing the Mercedes-like character the Smart car had.

I went from a smart to a spark because after 5 years I was tired of having to flatbed ($$$) the car to Pittsburgh (130 miles) for nearest service---except for oil and filter changes at local Mercedes Dealer.

I do have a CLS 550 Mercedes--so I can still feel Mercedes character on the Interstates-

Hey, How did you find the transition to a chevy spark from a smart? what made you do it?

If anything you should tire from a junk yard just incase you never know these days construction sites are the worst for nails and screws. I would do it.
I live in State College, PA--over 100 miles each way from Pittsburgh and Philadelphia--the nearest smart centers-- After five years the need for flatbedding (and costs) when major service was needed, was too much for me. The local Mercedes dealer could not service smarts, except oil and filter changes, etc.

I really like the spark with its 1.2 L 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed auto tranny. I use it like the smart, for daily city car- local driver. (I have a Mercedes CLS 550 for the road! GIFF Albright
