I find spare tires to be useless. When last has any of you actually had to use a spare?

Instead of getting a spare tire, your better off getting a tire patch kit and mini air compressor.

also sign up for some sort of road side assistance.

Was told today had to buy wheel with sensor about 4to5 hundred dollars. I feel as you do buy something from junk yard that will work and also fit in we'll.
Aww darn it. Yeah the tpms light --> (!) will go on as it includes the spare tire pressure along with its system. Just buy yourself a suitable rim with the right bolt pattern and size then buy the sensor and have it installed for around 30$. The sensor depending on which on will run you about 40-60$

Yes I like to know more about this spare tire stuff also being I know nothing about these new vehicles I'm old school and 62 years old and wife is on oxygen don't need to be stuck in the middle of no where with out a spare tire I have heard sometimes that fix a flat stuff doesn't work I see eBay has Spark wheels for around $200.00 haven't check it out all the way yet only have a little of 400 miles on our new Spark. So ya have to have the censor as well and have installed if I read that right. Will the spare tire censor mess with tpms light while just sitting in the back? :)

I do not want to pay for roadside assistance, and trust me the worst part of your day is spending twice the amount of time trying to get a plug to set right or glue to actually work, than it is to just throw a spare on.
I got mine at discount tire, works like a charm. Cost = $130 for rim. No TPMS Gotta get one yourself
