Yesterday I asked what you guys liked about the Spark, but I think a more interesting question is what don't you like about it? Is there something you think Chevy could have done to improve the Spark? What would you change?

I really don't have too many complaints about the Spark, it's a great little car for an affordable price. At times, I do wish that it had a little bit more performance. More torque but I can't really complain because that is not the point of this car.

I don't like the instrument cluster. Some people like how it looks like a motorcycle instrument cluster, since it makes the Spark seem "sporty" but i rather have the traditional instrumental cluster layout you see on cars.

Complaint

I'll tell you my biggest complaint about my 2 week old, 2014, Summit White 1LT 5-speed, I cannot find mud flaps in the U.S. I see some on Ebay, (returned an order today as they will not fit), I see ads for them in India, China, one websight in the U.K. offers them, fully using the Chevy Spark name, so either they are a "bogus" seller, or Chev offers them to customers OUTSIDE of the U.S. I've seen so many inquiries on Spark forums, I can't believe they're not offered. Please Chevy, please.

Biggest Complaint

I've only rented a Spark Automatic for 2 weeks in Maui.
Love the size (I live in San Francisco so it would be a great city car).
My complaint is the down shifting of the automatic... you barely need to look at the accelerator and it will downshift. Anyone else have this issue?
I might wait till 2016 when Chevy will offer a CVT, I think.

Almost 3 months now

3 months in, and, although I do love my little car, and I hate to complain, but it has the suspension of a Tiger Tank., as in,.... none. When I go over a speed bump at the grocery store, at a crawl, honestly, it feels like the rear end has been dropped from a height of 6 feet.

Update

Almost 6K miles on the 2014 1LT. Drove it off the lot in June, and I LOVE this little car. With the 5speed, it's like zippin' around in a go-cart.
At this moment, the only negatives that come to mind are, rear suspension seems to be almost non existent. I'm no mechanic by any means, and I could be wrong, (maybe a mechanic would comment), going over speed bumps at 3 miles per hour, the rear end bumps down hard.
Also, when looking over my shoulder for reverse, there seems to be a certain amount of "blind spot", (rear seat head rests), but again, very minor issues. I LOVE this car!
